Member notifications

Someone wrote to you. You should know.

On a community platform, the notification is the product. A reply that is never seen is a conversation that never happens. DateMail ProCenter sends the messages members have switched on themselves — and nothing they have switched off.

Which messages we deliver

Activity alerts
A new message, a reply, a contact request. Short, with a link into the platform and no content beyond what the member needs to decide whether to look.
Account matters
Address confirmation, password reset, security notice after an unusual login. These go out even when promotional mail is off, because they protect the account.
Membership reminders
Renewal dates and expiring features, sent once and early enough. Never as a countdown, never with invented urgency.
Digests instead of floods
Members who prefer fewer emails get one summary a day or a week instead of a message per event.

How we keep it decent

Platforms trust us with mail addressed to people who are often looking for something personal. That calls for restraint.
